The backlight is independantley powered, and has it's own pins for power. Meaning, the backlight intensity can be controlled seperatly. Please see the 'Documentation' page for more details.
The battery voltage unit does come with the pin headers pre-soldered for the connection pins (as pictured). The pin headers on the opposite side are not required for functionality, they are only optional to assist with mounting to a PCB if needed.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (Outside UK):
EU Orders €150 or below
For orders into the EU with a value of €150 or below, your order will be shipped using the IOSS scheme. This means that your taxes are now collected at checkout, avoiding the unknown import fees. This also means that your parcel skips straight through customs, allowing it to reach you much quicker!

Please note that international orders outside the EU, or EU orders over €150, may be subject to customs fees or import duties, which are the responsibility of the buyer. We will always ship "Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU)", the customer pays local VAT before customs releases the goods for delivery.
