CLOSURE & CLEARANCE

Firstly, I just want to thank everyone for their support over the years. It's been such a joy to see this idea I had be embraced and enjoyed by so many of you.
As this new chapter in my life continues, it has become very clear that I will not be able to return the business to full operational status.
As some of you know, I have been in commercial pilot training since Nov 2024. I was able to keep the business running whilst I was in ground school, but when I had to go abroad for the practical flight training it was of course impossible to continue as I couldn't physically ship anything or provide customer support.
My aim was to try and return the business to at least part time operations upon my return, but it is now very clear with the intensity of the sim training and upcoming type rating, that it simply will not be possible. I have to focus on my training.
So, it is with a heavy heart that I inform you this will be the end of Kav Simulations.
I did reach out to some partners who were potentially interested in taking over the business, but unfortunately nothing was able to be finalised.
I have some stock left, and my intention is clear as much of this as possible over the next couple of weeks.
This will be with some conditions:
- There will be no returns. All sales are final.
- There will be no customer support for past or future orders.
- Once they're gone, they're gone. I will not be manufacturing any more products in the future.
- Items are sold without import fees or taxes. If ordering from outside the UK, you will encounter your local import fees. Any items returned to me as a result of this will not be received and cannot be resent.
- The website will eventually go offline, and so will all social media. So, any and all documentation will be need to be copied and stored by yourself in advance. I do intend to keep the GitHub repo's alive though, so anything there should still remain.
For those with the Airport LED Boards, the server will stay alive for as long as I can afford to keep paying the fees on it. But once it becomes unsustainable, it is likely the products will go offline. I have tried looking at many ways to prevent this, and I think ultimately the real world data will stop, but it's possible the vatsim data may persist.
I can only apologise for this, but I can't continue to financially support it without any income from the business.
Thank you once again, and I wish you all happy landings in the future.
