New LCD Documentation
Battery Voltage - Rudder Trim - Radio/TCAS
Thanks for your interest in our new LCD products! This page will give you some detailed information on the products and how to get started with using them.
If you haven't already, we recommend that you have a read through the documentation page for the FCU & EFIS displays. This will give you a good understanding of our products in general and how they work. Throughout this page, we will assume that you are familiar with the information on that page.
A quick summary: Our displays are a 3-line serial device (SPI), and can be utilised on their own as a raw LCD component, or with our custom MobiFlight firmware and configs.
Battery Voltage Technical Details
PCB Dimensions are W:42.5mm x H:22.5mm
Glass Dimensions are W:33.5mm x H:18.5mm
Display (Visible Area) Dimensions are W:30.5mm x H:11.5mm
Full and detailed specifications of the device can be found here: Data Sheet
The backlight is an independant circuit, and has its own pins to power it. Therefore, it can be independantly dimmed.
The device comes with the same pin headers as the EFIS, so they are a little bit shorter than standard pin headers. We have found that this doesn't cause any issues when connecting JST-XH or indeed Dupont connectors however.

Thank you for reading this far, and we hope you are as excited about these displays as we are!
To summarise, these are great products with plug & play options. But you will get the most out of this product by running with it and utilising it in your own way.
We want this to be accessible for those who don't feel comfortable with coding, and so there is the MobiFlight option for those who just want something they can use.
